Facilitate and implement all staffing functions assigned to a location.
Provide professional consultation and assistance throughout the recruiting and interview process with all levels of management.
Coordinate and conduct all recruitment, testing, interviewing, and selection functions.
Ensure that company, state, and federal policies/laws are followed in recruitment and placement procedures.
Develop effective recruiting strategies with supervisors/managers including: external contact networking, job firms, professional membership/company promotional activities, internet and school recruitment programs.
Act as point of contact for temporary services, and manage the request for service, orientation for temporary employees, and coordinate billing process, if needed.
Coordinate all pre-employment duties (drug screens, criminal background checks, pre-employment testing).
Maintain on-line applicant tracking records.
Facilitate the job closing process by completing internal and external declinations.
Coordinate, research and evaluate various retention programs.
Complete the on-boarding process by following up with new hires.
Provide accurate and timely feedback to supervisors and managers on the status of applicants.
Complete reports as assigned.
Coordinate activities of Recruiting Coordinator.
Development of direct reports, if applicable.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with leadership team and associates.
Provide resources to supervisors/managers regarding associate relation’s issues.
Identify and contribute to continuous process improvement.
EDUCATION: College degree or commensurate experience EXPERIENCE: 5+ years recruiting experience.
Working knowledge in Employee Relations and/or Generalist functions.
