We are seeking intelligent, highly motivated college students entering their senior year of Undergraduate or any year in a Master’s program for a full time summer internship transitioning to part time during the school year.
Our intention is to provide hands-on training for a career opportunity to qualified individuals with little or no previous professional work experience to help them prepare for a career in a similar field of work (or maybe even with Abile Group) We are looking for a driven candidate interested in the recruiting field that wants to learn and grow with us The right candidate will be ready and willing to work with the Technical Recruiting Team to aide in the fulfillment of the responsibilities below.
Responsibilities: The intern will work under the mentorship and supervision of senior staff members to gain valuable on-the-job training and real-world work experience.
They will support Abile’s efforts to consistently work toward greater efficiency and effectiveness by offering improved processes and fresh ideas, and by leveraging smart technologies, while becoming familiar with the government contracting work environment as a viable and fulfilling career path.
Working Hours will be a full-time schedule between the hours of 8:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in a virtual environment.
The following are responsibilities and experiences the intern should expect to encounter:Learn about full lifecycle recruiting processes and participate in the full lifecycle process.Learn about ITIL processes and how they come into play in our current job openings.Learn the iCIMS platform, to include reporting and searching features.Learn about and post jobs externally via our iCIMS platform.Own the iCIMS searching feature to find candidates that may be a fit for current job openings.Identify and manage candidate lifecycle.
This includes:Utilizing searching platforms to identify qualified candidatesScreening candidates on the phoneStaying in touch with candidates throughout the processSetting up hiring manager interviewsGetting CEO approval for offersDrafting offer lettersUtilizing DocuSign to send out offer letters and briefing packagesLearn about and aide the technical recruiters in preparation for upcoming job fairs, to include pulling together marketing documents and coordinating with sponsors of the event.Research new places to post our information to engage with different groups of people as needed for AAP compliance.Aide HR and recruiting in tracking the full lifecycle candidate checklists.Participate in weekly meetings (leadership and recruiting meetings) and provide ideas and creative input to our evolving processes.Learn how to review and make changes to the daily candidate workflow in the iCIMS system.Learn how to create Boolean strings and perform searches for technical candidates.Help HR with picking out SWAG products.
Qualifications: Clearance Required: Candidate does not need a current security clearance but must pass a background investigation and must be eligible to be processed for a Top Secret security clearance (U.S.
Citizenship required).
Required education and experience: Applications will be considered from candidates who have earned a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in 2021 or 2022 prior to the start date of the Internship or who are currently completing their Junior year or enrolled in a Master’s degree program related to the internship.
Minimum GPA is 3.0 is required with on track demonstration of completion of Bachelor’s degree no later than Spring of 2023.
