This team member actively contributes to the research, design, and planning of storm water facilities, watersheds, and storm water management.
SENIOR WATER RESOURCE ENGINEER Develop client relationships in support of business development to secure new project opportunities.
Consult with clients to plan and develop strategies for their water resource needs.
Manage project scope, schedule, team resources, and budgets.
Manage client and contractor contracts.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE You advocate proactively for the Engineering field within the specialty of water resources, and enjoy sharing knowledge, giving presentations, and encouraging students to explore it as a career.
You have a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with North Dakota PE registration (or the ability to obtain registration).
You are building on 10 or more years of successful design and consulting experience within the water resources specialty.
You have successfully worked in teams and have outstanding listening, communication, & leadership skills.
You have strong technical skills and experience using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM, or other hydrologic and hydraulic modeling resources JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You regularly evaluate designs for water detention systems, storm drains, flood control facilities, or other hydraulic driven water conveyances systems.
You assist in the development or implementation of storm water monitoring.
You oversee and develop watershed master plans and flood mitigation studies.
You analyze storm water or floodplain drainage systems to control erosion, stabilize river banks, and repair stream channels.
You prepare environmental documentation for water resources and regulatory program compliance.
You interface with various entities ranging from FEMA and USACE to local government.
You design programs and strategies related to water resource issues such as quality, quantity, and regulatory compliance issues for client review and approval You perform pre-design services, such as feasibility, preliminary engineering reports or environmental impact studies and assessments.

Salary range is $85K
– $110K annually.
This position is located in our Williston office; however occasional travel to other locations and business conferences may need to be penciled in.
