Additional Responsibilities:
- In coordination with the Global University and Entry-Level Recruiting leadership team, the University recruiting and relations role will lead and develop an annual recruiting plan, including budget and goals for various hiring events and engagement.
- This role must represent Boeing effectively when conducting both virtual and on campus recruiting events (e.g., information sessions, interviews) and non-recruiting, developmental events (e.g., resume workshops, advisory council meetings).
- Lead as integrator and project manager of in-person and virtual events, ensuring appropriate resources and technologies are coordinated for execution.
- Partner with the internal U.S.
University Intern and Entry-Level Recruiting team, functional partners and leaders, human resource partners, Global Equity Diversity Inclusion, Boeing Global Engagement, and other stakeholders to understand and connect the business needs; and associated demand to engagement strategies.
- Develop and drive talent engagement via the following means: virtual and in person events; via social media networking; cultivating relationships with university stakeholders; and frequent touchpoints with both active and passive candidates.
- Develop and execute early identification programs, where possible, and continue to develop relationships with targeted candidates.
- Present the university relations strategy to key stakeholders, universities, and other parties to ensure understanding of the future entry-level talent needs at Boeing.
- Leverage internal and external data analysis, trends, and benchmarking insights to inform a modernization of enterprise hiring plans.
- Develop strong relationships with university career services, faculty, student organizations, diversity/disability offices, and other groups identified as relevant to recruiting.
- Drive awareness and understanding of the organization’s diversity and inclusiveness values.
- Train and oversee Boeing personnel, campus teams, and student ambassadors that support outreach efforts for assigned university portfolios.
- Partner with Boeing Global Engagement for annual university portfolio contribution process and advise university focals in the alignment of funds to university capabilities and Boeing talent needs.
- Identify and recommend campus specific marketing opportunities to the Boeing Recruitment and Advertising focal/ manager and Global University and Entry-Level Recruiting leadership team.
- Advise hiring leaders on hiring best practices, compliance and policy in accordance with required federal policy guidelines and mandates (such as Office of Federal Compliance, Data protection, EEO).
- Continue to enhance our brand presence on select campuses, external technical affiliations, and in the industry through ambassadorship, events, and social outreach.
