In this vital role Amgen is searching for a savvy Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for its US Commercial Business organization within Global Commercial Operations.Amgen’s US Commercial Business delivers $18B in annual revenues and is in the midst of new product launches in an increasingly competitive environment.

This HRBP will be the strategic HR partner to the Cardiovascular and Nephrology Business Unit (CNBU).

The CNBU consists of 800 staff in Thousand Oaks as well as in the Field.

This position provides the opportunity to develop solutions to a variety of complex HR challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This HRBP will use well-developed HR consulting skills to help their business clients achieve key business objectives and increase the effectiveness of their organization.

They will coach clients on a variety of HR and business-related issues to effect change in the organization.

Additional responsibilities include leading, in partnership with the relevant HR centers of expertise; leadership development, talent management, compensation strategies, engagement and retention, culture, and ongoing organizational design/workforce strategy initiatives.

In addition to developing and retaining top internal talent, the HRBP also will play a meaningful role in partnering withAmgen’s talent acquisition organization to identify and attract top external talent to key leadership and staff roles.Amgen is in the midst of an unprecedented number of global filings and product launches for both innovative and biosimilar medicines, and is navigating an increasingly sophisticated and dynamic landscape from a reimbursement and competitive perspective.
