Recruitment Manager (Temp!)

One of our clients located near Downtown LA, is looking for a temporary recruitment manger to help handle their recruitment needs. We are looking for an individual who has a fun personality, someone who has experience leading a team, and someone who has strong decision making skills. As an recruitment manager your main responsibilities will include, leading full cycle recruitment initiatives, developing new recruitment strategies, as well as keeping track on recruitment metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all full-cycle recruiting initiatives, including developing and managing recruitment strategies
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
  • Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
  • Strategically source through educational institutions, Work Source Centers, job fairs, job boards and social media; screening; interviewing; and hiring
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor in Human Resource Management is preferred but not required
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
  • Strong Knowledge and understanding of related state and federal laws and regulations
  • Strong customer service orientation required. Must possess a courteous and professional demeanor and exhibit good judgment when assisting/interacting with others.
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
