Job Description:The recruiting assistant works to assist in connecting qualified candidates to open positions within the organization.
A successful recruiting assistant is encouraging, positive, and realistic about potential candidates.
The recruiting assistant spends significate time processing applicants into the applicant tracking system, collecting, and documenting candidate information for preemployment as well as interacting with people.
The recruiting assistant knows the importance of how to work efficiently and quickly.
They are deadline driven along with goal oriented.
Duties and Responsibilities:Duties required but not limited to:Assist recruiter with job boards, networking with various groups, and being active in the community, to help attract qualified candidates.Assist with emailing and calling prospective candidates, scheduling interviews, and processing necessary new hire paperwork.Process new hires in applicant tracking system.Creates and manages open requisitions within recruiting software.Responsible to update requisitions and disposition candidates accordingly in applicant tracking system and ensures integrity of data within the software.Assist with daily and weekly reporting based on function and needs.Manage new hire paperwork such as offer letters, background checks, and other preemployment screenings.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills and QualificationsMinimum 1 year of recruitment experience in high turnover organization, plus.Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in high turnover organization.Savvy, results-oriented individual with a high energy level and enthusiastic approach.Strong focus and understanding of pipeline management.Excellent problem solving, conceptual thinking and analytical skills.Able to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with significant output at high performance levels.Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and social media (Facebook, Instagram).Highly motivating, persistent, and competitive personality.Excellent time management skills along with the ability to multitask.hpAlliance Ground International is an equal opportunity employer.
