If you would like to join Aesop, we invite you to peruse our current career opportunities.This is a temporary role that is up to 6 months in lengthPURPOSE This role will facilitate end-to-end volume retail recruitment in each of Aesop’s markets within the USA (East Coast and West Coast) and Canada to ensure that successful candidates align with Aesop’s culture and role requirements.

The Recruiter will work with both HR Business Partners and Functional Managers to understand resourcing needs and to develop recruitment strategies for each vacancy and new position.

In conjunction with the global Americas People Services Manager, this role will develop and implement consistent recruitment processes and best practice as well as maintain a pipeline of candidates for future roles.

As candidates’ first introduction to working with Aesop, the role will act as an advocate for the Aesop brand, culture and employee value proposition.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of experience doing full lifecycle volume recruitment (5 requisitions at one time) within the American or Canadian market.

Agency recruitment experience a plus.Must have experience confidently leading conversations with hiring managers around business needs, qualifications, and creative solutions with hard-to-fill positionsKnowledge of best practices for recruitment processes inclusive of interview techniques, building out comprehensive interview guides, discussions around pay, and requisition managementInterested in learning Aesop’s values and culture to incorporate into the recruitment processStrong experience working in an HRIS and ATS platforms.

Experience in Workday is a plusMust have a strong understanding of employee retail legislation as well as I-9 requirementsMust have strong administrative abilities and proven track record of managing multiple requisitions concurrentlyMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment Work closely with the People Services Manager and Regional TA Specialist to review all open requisitions and ensure positions are filled in accordance with service level agreements with commercial managers.Drive recruitment process from end to end inclusive of hiring manager intake meeting, posting requisitions, communicating with candidates, conducting interviews, generating and distributing offer letters and initiating new hire onboardingCommunicating effectively and thoroughly with hiring managers to understand and define resourcing requirementsProactively conduct sourcing for hard-to-fill locations on platforms such as LinkedIn RecruiterDeveloping external partnerships for the purpose of expanding applicant poolsSource additional Advertising methods with vacanciesRespond in a timely and professional manner to applicantsLiaise with external recruiters as requiredSupport with project managing hiring events throughout the yearHR Administration Processing offer letters, filing all employee paperwork, hiring new employees in HRIS platformEnsuring that all payroll details are entered in a timely detailed manner as well as completing final process for I-9 paperworkAuditing Workday and Extensis platforms to ensure all employee information is correctAssisting with posting and reposting roles in WorkdayInitiating changes in job descriptions to ensure consistency across job description frame work and naming conventionsOffboarding employees and providing them with necessary offboarding informationReporting Maintain a pipeline of candidates for future recruiting, share this as necessary with the relevant managersUtilize Workday’s recruitment reporting dashboards and reports to understand recruitment metrics and share relevant results with business stakeholdersConsistently reviewing and revising recruitment KPI’s as neededRelationships Build strong working relationships within Aesop both regionally and globallyBuild and maintain strong external relationships (e.g.

with recruiters, other retail or Aesop-aligned companies, diversity and affinity organizations, etc.)Establish consistent meetings with area and commercial managers to discuss market needs, metrics and successes and challenges of recruitment regionallyTeam Involvement, Support and Management Assist in maintaining harmonious workplace relationships by openly and effectively communicating with other employeesBe an active team member by demonstrating a willingness to help and support othersHealth and Safety Ensure that full care is taken in the performance of all duties in order to protect the health and safety of oneself, fellow employees, visitors and consultantsImmediately follow up on any safety or health concerns within Aesop space
