PRPLLC provides expert resources to fill the demanding requirements for outsourced project and construction management solutions on behalf of corporate client project management organizations within the public and private sectors.Position Purpose & FocusAs a Document Control Specialist, you are responsible for managing company documents while also ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity.

This position involves controlling the retrieval and response of construction project documentation.

You will communicate directly with your assigned project teams and provide any training needed.

You will help project teams receive and process project documents such as meeting minutes, drawings, specifications, approvals, and related items.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesStore, manage, and track project documents in a SharePoint 2013 databaseAssist with records management procedures and policies including documentation, record retention, and retrievalWork with metadata and work with project teams to manage naming convention and file versionsDevelops standards dictation the accuracy of documentation and completeness of filesProvide training and support to project teams and outside contractors to help them feel comfortable using an electronic system for tracking and reviewing documents regardless of their technical experienceImplements processes for investigating and resolving discrepanciesPerform internal audits on project documents and document control database user accountsEstablishes and enforces process for document approval, distribution, modification, and destructionLocal travel to project sites as requested Qualifications & Success FactorsMinimum Experience: 1 to 3+ years document control experienceExperience working with Utility, Construction or Engineering documentation is requiredAbility to operate MS Office Suite and SharePoint and successfullyAbility to operate ProCore or Aconex is ideal, but not requiredAbility to prioritize, manage time well, multitask, and troubleshoot for multiple projectsStrong interpersonal, communication, & customer service skillsin working collaboratively Associated topics: administrator, consultant, custom, manager, project, project manager, public, site, superintendent, supervisor
