Payroll Service Specialist

ADP is hiring a Payroll Service Specialist II.

In this position you will Provides support to TotalSource payroll professionals in our processing regions on the client-server/web-based Enterprise and AutoPay products.

Service responsibilities include functional support of processes and technical support of applications.

Responsible for making client level configuration changes to support systems to accommodate processing needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides support and Level 1 technical assistance to all TotalSource processing regions regarding product capabilities and payroll / HR functional issues.

Ensures client payrolls and other related products and services are processed in an accurate and timely manner.

Investigates, analyzes and resolves problems on a timely basis.

Continually reviews and maintains standardization among our client base and escalates exceptions to management in order to ensure appropriate application of customer service.

Performs routine research and executes corrective action on client issues and questions concerning product or TotalSource services.

Assumes ownership for inquiries made by the client until such time the issue or inquiry is satisfactorily closed or dispatched to another tier to TotalSource Service area.

Uses personal computing knowledge and software to carry-out work assignments including Clarify, Microsoft Office and other Workstation Tools.

Responsible for escalating non-tier 2 case types to Tier 3.

Performs special projects as required by Payroll Services Group.

These projects may entail standardizations, mass configuration changes on systems, new or modified SQRs, or other service development needs.

Attend weekly Corporate Autopay/Statutory calls and update PSG management on any upcoming Autopay/Statutory changes that may impact regions, other functional areas and/or clients.

Review monthly Autopay release notes to determine impact to TotalSource.

Communicate to PSG management and other functional areas impacted by release updates.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related fields or equivalent work experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: 3
– 5 Years of Directly Related Experience Some payroll knowledge Completion of FTS/Totalpay Class and Advanced TotalPay Multi-Tasking: Responds and reacts to a variety of different critical issues simultaneously Needs Analysis: Conducts an in-depth analysis of the client’s requirements and specifications to determine the appropriate course of action Job Knowledge: Possesses and applies professional skills and knowledge in job related areas; keeps abreast of current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
