Payroll Administrator to support our Accounting Department
Your Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in payroll administration.
- Preference for end-to-end payroll processing.
- PHR/SHRM-CP is preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms.
- Experience with Paycom is a huge plus.
- Accounting background is also a plus.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of payroll and benefits-related laws and requirements (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA/HITECH, PPACA, FMLA, FLSA, Internal Revenue Code Section 125, and payroll tax laws).

In this role you will have the opportunity to perform the following responsibilities:
- Oversee procedures and processes and manage inquiries and requests related to preparation and distribution of payroll.
- Process payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Maintain and oversee the maintenance of employee payroll records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to management team.
- Issue tax forms and related documentation as necessary.
- Resolve payroll-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bring a team-orientated and positive attitude to our Downtown Los Angeles office.
