Payroll Administrator

A Large Healthcare Organization requires a Payroll Administrator for payroll processing and demands proficiency with ADP Workforce Now applications.

The Payroll Administrator provides a processing payroll for 150+ employees from its Mid
– Wilshire Los Angeles location.
Your responsibilities
Process payroll through ADP Workforce Now for 150+ employees
Using federal and state regulations and guidelines, ensure company compliance
Deliver assistance to payroll with internal and external audits
Draft reports by organizing all summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
Reconcile employee deductions and other liabilities as needed
Draft relevant year-end reports, as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly ones, for department heads
Exercise of proper data management by collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data
Take charge of all questions and requests related to payroll
Report changes where necessary after maintaining payroll operations via company policies and procedures
Calculate employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to determine payroll liabilities
Track payroll record changes by entering updates in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
Manage payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Continue employee confidence in payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential
Reviewing and verifying source documents
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Certified Payroll detail oriented will be given preference
Experience with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.
Full Cycle Payroll experience
Payroll systems for 100-500 employees experience
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (MUST)
Mastery of internal controls
Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
Mastery of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
Well-informed in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen
Relevant experience of 2+ years in payroll
Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
