Payroll Administrator

Our client, a leader in cannabis manufacturing, distribution, and retail operations, has an immediate need for a Payroll Administrator.

In this critical role, the successful candidate will implement and administer compliant payroll practices, compensation programs and maintain accurate HRIS information/reporting.

Responsibilities
Create/revise best practices in payroll administration, ensuring accurate payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees Administer deductions for benefits, process expense reimbursements in partner with other systems Create GL entries and account reconciliations Process and report/file all quarterly and annual payroll taxes and notices Manage audits and inquiries Serve as main point of contact for all payroll-related questions

Requirements
College Degree or equivalent experience 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role Excellent verbal and written communication Painstaking attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of wage & hour laws as it relates to payroll and benefits Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Cannabis experience a plus
