– and moderate-income households and communities of color throughout the greater Chicagoland area and suburbs.
We use homeownership as a tool to close the racial wealth gap.
Well-maintained, owner-occupied homes have a range of economic, social, physical, and psychological benefits for their residents and are critical components of stable and economically healthy neighborhoods.
Homeownership is also one of the largest components of intergenerational wealth, and creation of more black and brown homeowners creates opportunities for future generations.
For too many households of color, systematic barriers still make homeownership and the related benefits out-of-reach.
We help residents become homeowners, while working to address redlining and other racial housing disparities.
NHS of Chicago has been developing innovative projects to help overcome this decline and support our communities and residents in moving onwards and upwards.

We are seeking a Human Resources outreach and associate vista that will help research, design, and implement recruiting and onboarding strategies to outreach to and develop workforce from our communities.
This person will also help develop training programs to help strengthen NHS staff effectiveness in communicating with and serving our communities.Member Duties : 1) Help design outreach strategies to recruit NHS staff from the communities we serve.
2) Research, design, and document innovative programs to best enable NHS staff to best serve our target communities, clients, including design of an onboarding process.
3) Help research and design strengthened HR policies and programs including labor laws.
