Activities may include answering phones, filing, organizing resumes and job applications or preparing presentation materials for training activities.

Activities and procedures are clearly defined and work processes are simple.

Operates under close supervision with regular review of work in progress and completed assignments.Job Responsibilities: Handle personnel paperworkPrepare personnel action formsPrepare and deliver offers of employmentInform payroll and administration departments of a new employee’s arrivalEnter new employees into the HRIS systemCollect necessary new hire formsMail performance review forms and salary increase forms to managersPerform follow-up to ensure that paperwork is returned in a timely and accurate mannerFile and maintain employee recordsAssists with other administrative duties, in the areas of wage and salary, benefits, recruitment, training, etc.Performs other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Must be a NANA Shareholder and own stock in “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.”Pursuing Bachelor’s degree preferably in HR or related fieldBasic knowledge of personnel practices and proceduresExcellent writing, editing, communication, organization and interpersonal skills requiredAble to handle high level of confidentiality regarding employee informationMust currently be enrolled in college, university orvocational programWork Environment and Physical Demands:General office environment; no special physical demands required.Intern Benefits:Compensation:depending on class level or experienceRoundtrip Airfare ProvidedHousingFood allowanceIf you have questions please contact Mamie Karmun, Manager Shareholder Programs at mamie.karmunakima.com.
