Job Summary Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition & HR Technology, the Manager, Human Resources Learning Technology and Processes manages and oversees the organization’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Learning Management System (LMS).
This position provides leadership in design, configuration, implementation, communication, maintenance and administration in support of HRIS and LMS strategy including, but not limited to, management and completion of all audits; administration and maintenance of the Human Resource Learning tools and their integrations (Qualtrics, Skillsoft, MOOC’s, LMS, WebEx, iContent, etc.) by developing software requirements based on changing business needs.
The position manages the processes and procedures responsible for the documentation and oversight of all internal controls governing the HR system including course distribution, testing, troubleshooting, digitalization of courses and learning artifacts, reporting and translation of functional learning strategy into technical requirements.
May conduct system training sessions for end users, instructors, and other administrators.
This position has full authority for personnel actions regarding the LMS Team, including managing staff in the day-to-day performance of their work.
Duties Manages and oversees HR Learning Technology and Systems (SuccessFactors Learning Management System, Qualtrics, WebEx, WFA, etc.) and will support in other HRIS modules.
Manages day to day operations and activities of the team, including the hiring and supervision of staff and evaluation of staff performance.
Provides direction to staff on projects, resolves and responds to questions and issues raised by senior management, staff, providers and third-parties.
Continually assesses technical and other job-related skills and knowledge of staff, and deploys needed training to assigned staff.
Establish, implement and maintain audit procedures to ensure system information is accurate and up-to-date; troubleshoot and solve data and system problems.
Complete regular audits to ensure compliance with Government Regulations and L.A.
Care Policies & Procedures.
Possesses overall accountability for data integrity, including quality, accuracy, reporting, timeliness and usability.
Maintains data integrity and accuracy in systems through pro-active means (audits, queries, reporting, etc.).
Establish and implement SAP Configurations through Super Admin privileges, which will require code, program, and process changes.
Maintains knowledge and understand of various programming languages and technologies to implement solutions for different learning objectives and strategies proposed by different learning departments.
Implement SAP as the official system of record for the enterprise in conjunction with chosen integration partners and internal subject matter experts.
Create and maintain system alerts and user roles/access.
Serve as liaison between Human Resources, IT department and system vendors.
Work with HR leadership to establish HR technology roadmap to ensure systems meet the needs of HR and non-HR business needs.
Review system release notes to ensure continued viability of system, and to take advantage of new/improved system functionality.
Acts as a subject matter expert for other HR team members, and train users on system design & functionality.
Mentor/cross-train HR Analyst in system administration/maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Required Bachelor’s Degree In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
Education Preferred Experience Required:At least 5-7 years of experience in HR Systems role, HR compliance audits and in a technical function utilizing HR software applications with at least 3-4 years of supervisory/management experience.
HR information system implementation experience.
Experience with application configuration, software vendor selection, and vendor relationship management.
Preferred:Working or advanced knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors, WebEx, Qualtrics, and/or other learning technologies.
Skills Required:Advanced understanding of Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and management.
Understand SAP provisional configurations and be able to configure SAP through Super Admin role.
Understanding of other modules and their integrations into SuccessFactor’s LMS.
Ability to act as a subject matter expert and troubleshoot other learning tools within the organization: WebEx, Qualtrics, etc.
Extensive knowledge of HRIS platforms, including modules related to employee systems of record, benefits, payroll, compensation, organizational development and recruitment.
Effective project management skills; expertise in driving projects and initiatives, demonstrating benefits of projects to the organization, and translating customer and business needs into technical requirements.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Expert knowledge in databases and report writing.
Proficient in Access and Excel.
Knowledge of Human Resources and Labor laws.
Knowledge of data privacy issues, laws and regulations associated with HR operations.
Knowledge of employee benefits, compensation and position management.
Must possess strong relationship building, verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to successfully collaborate with all levels of staff, business partners including HR, Finance, and other Operational teams and leaders.
Ability to collaborate with multiple project teams and being successful in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent organizational, quantitative and analytical skills with ability to independently meet multiple deadlines.
Excellent judgment skills and willingness to take accountability and ownership.
