Labor Compliance Payroll Reviewer

ABW Group, LLC has an opening with a client for a Labor Compliance Payroll Reviewer to join its Construction Services Group.Responsibilities:Monitor and Audit Certified Payroll RecordsAttend construction meetings as requiredReview Certified Payroll RecordsApply State and Federal prevailing wage requirements to certified payroll reviewIdentify Wage Underpayments and Prevailing Wage Violations by subcontractorsPrepare first notice of wage InvestigationsFollow-up on Wage Investigations through completionPrepare monthly reportsConduct on-site employee interviews for prevailing wage requirements (requires travel)Perform other duties as neededEducation & Qualifications:High School Diploma3 years of administrative experience directly relevant to this role (Payroll Specialist, Compliance Assistant, etc.)Working proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Office, particularly Word and Excel Understanding of State and Federal Prevailing Wage lawsStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe client offers a competitive salary, health benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA accounts), 401K with company match, and an annual education allowance.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:• General Labor: 1 year (Required)• administrative: 3 years (Required)• Construction: 1 year (Required)Education:• High school or equivalent (Required)Location:• Los Angeles, CA (Required)
