Human Resources Analyst II C Training-The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California
The Human Resources Analyst II (Training) will provide assistance with the Learning Management System. This includes assisting with the creation, maintenance, and evaluation of trainings and training programs for MWD. It will also involve running attendance and evaluation reports as well as updating the Training Calendar. Some basic graphic design work is needed for marketing trainings through e-flyers and e-mails. This person will offer logistical/administrative support for both onsite and virtual trainings (creating zoom meetings, booking rooms, ordering food, supplies, completion certificates, etc.) and provide help with training facilitation (presenting short content modules, monitoring chats, virtual breakout rooms, etc.). This role also involves assistance with building basic training materials such as pdf study guides and online self-paced tutorial videos (through software such as Articulate). The Human Resources Analyst II (Training) will also be involved with marketing and tracking MWD’s Tuition Reimbursements (serving as a liaison for the college reps, organizing info fairs, processing reimbursement requests, tracking participation rates). They will assist with and oversee Professional Development reimbursements. This role will also provide administrative support for MWD’s Mentoring Program (online registration, etc.) and perform contract and payment administration for our external training vendors. This classification performs work that requires maintaining confidentiality and is routinely privy to matters that either involves confidential information, sensitive personnel issues, or exposure to confidential and sensitive strategic corporate information. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or two years as a MWD Human Resources Analyst I. Relevant experience is defined as: administrative experience in at least 2 of the following areas: learning management systems or databases and spreadsheets; creation/preparation, maintenance and/or evaluation of trainings/programs/materials; graphic design; training facilitation or event/project coordination; and/or contract/payment administration. License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive in the course of your employment.
