Job Summary: Provides guidance and direction to business units, in areas of Human Resources including, but not limited to, recruitment and employment, personnel matters, job evaluation, salary administration, benefits procedures, organization development, training, EEO and special projects.

Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through documents, communications, and/or meetings.

Prepares reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.

Major Job Responsibilities: Supports the effort to embed diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion into the HR roles and responsibilities and the organization’s HR-related functionsAssists in the daytoday administration of policies and programs in human resources areas including but not limited to recruitment, leave management, performance management and trainingReviews applications and may interview applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements, oversees and approves background checks and in liaison with Compensation staff recommends salary offersHelps disseminate policies and proceduresWith general supervision, investigates basic employee relations issues, recommends and facilitates effective solutions in alignment with applicable policies and lawsWith supervision, coaches and advises staff on organizational and employee issuesOversees performance management process; outlines procedures and creates documents specific to the organization as needed; provides relevant coaching and guidanceAssesses organizational and individual staff development needs.

Identifies and consults with staff on training and career development opportunities.

Develops and conducts relevant training and participates in training designOversees and approves human resources transactions submitted for processingConducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement Qualifications: Bachelors degree4-5 years experience in the Human Resources field including 12 years experience as a business partner Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of all areas of Human ResourcesWith general supervision and oversight, serves as a consultant and advisor to management in employee relations, employment and labor law, staffing and employment and organizational developmentStrong interpersonal skills and an ability to establish credibility and trust with a diverse client groupStrong analytical, problem solving, judgment, negotiating and decision making skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality, tact and diplomacyStrong facilitation and oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations or training to a variety of audiencesDemonstrated proficiency with business office applications and human resources information systems Equal Opportunity Employer: We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
