Human Resources Manager

s and compensation structure for all job classifications.Administers compensation program to ensure consistency and equity within the company.Oversees the administration of workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, and drug and alcohol abuse program while providing strategy and guidance for successful execution.Reviews benefit options and recommend changes annually.

Ensures that the execution of benefits activities is in compliance with all legal requirements; interacts with vendors to review quotes and resolve concerns; oversees open enrollment; and provides support orguidance on benefit functions.Develops and drives the company’s recruitment and retention strategies.

Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacancies for exempt positions.

Participates in recruitment, pre-screening, interviewing, and onboarding activities as needed.Develops strategies and oversees programs to affect employee retention and morale.

Plans and coordinates company events, appreciation and recognition programs, and special perks.Researches and response to general employee questions and those involving high levels of complexity.Coordinates prepare and present training on supervisory and human resources topics as needed or requested.Provides statistical reports/data and analysis as required or requested.Establishes priorities for managing own work while staying on a focused, efficient path for achieving results.Acts as a business ambassador and presents a positive image of the company.Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with five (5) or more years of experience in a human resources management and supervision role performing similar functions is preferred.

Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with seven (7) or more years in a human resources management and supervision role performing similar functions; or High School Diploma/GED with nine (9) or more years in a human resources management and supervision role performing similar functions may be considered.Human Resources certification through SHRM or HRCI is strongly preferred.Demonstrated understanding/knowledge of the fundamental aspects of human resources is required.Working knowledge of Federal and State including OH, MO, TN, and CA employment laws is required.Fluent in SpanishREQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to read, analyzes, and interprets general business documents, contracts, and governmental regulations.Advanced knowledge and understanding of the following computer software programs: Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Ability to administer users and provide access to HRIS and timekeeping systems.

Ability to learn and use new software programs quickly and efficiently.
