Classification: Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Compensation: $25.00 to $30.00 hourly
Our client, a leading creative entertainment marketing company, is looking to add a Human Resources Coordinator to their team. This company has roughly 150 full time employees plus freelance employees. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for various HR related tasks such as: on-boarding and off-boarding new hires, employment verifications, assisting with timesheet collection, processing background checks, digitizing and organizing employment files and working within Paycom HRIS system. We are ideally looking for a candidate who could join the team permanently, although our client is also open to temporary only candidates. The hours are 9-6 but there is flexibility. Our client is open to candidates who prefer to work remote but will also offer the option to come in on site. You would be part of a four person HR team.

– Partake in planning new employee orientation meetings
– Preside over employee database records
– Be in charge of administrative and office responsibilities
– Explore the internet to track down potential customers
Job Requirements:
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
– Onboarding experience
– Demonstrated knowledge of performance reviews
– Adeptness in Background Checks
– HRIS experience preferred
– Deep understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration
– Comprehensive knowledge of Paycom
– Onboarding experience preferred
– Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
– Capability to interact with all levels of staff in a rapidly quickly changing environment while maintaining an approachable and appropriate demeanor
– Have prior experience in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
