Our client is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team in West LA.
The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years’ experience as a HR Coordinator and will have Workday experience. This role requires excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, as well as a thorough knowledge of Human Resources and laws.
This is a temporary assignment providing coverage for a maternity leave and is expected to last approximately 3 months. The hours for this position would be Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Process HR transactions in Workday
Work directly with multiple stakeholders
Onboard new employees
Oversee worker’s compensation claims
Work on HR handbook
Employee Benefits
Answer HR-related questions
Assist with administrative/HR tasks as assigned

High school diploma or GED (MUST)
Bachelor’s Degree (PLUS)
Experience with Workday (MUST)
1+ years of experience in a HR Coordinator role (MUST)
Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws (MUST)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment (MUST)
Desired Personality Traits and Skills: Ability to go with the flow and work in a constantly changing environment, easy going, courteous, professional, business-like demeanor and presentation, sufficient organizational skills to adhere to deadlines, and the ability to receive constructive feedback and perform duties as assigned.
