Human Resources Compensation Analyst

Job Summary: The Human Resources Compensation Specialist will support the HR community, stakeholders and employees in Americas.

Individual assuming this role will participate in compensation projects with unique or controversial problems that have an important effect on major organization issues.

Key areas of focus include salary administration, job evaluation, merit, incentive plans, compensation communication, compensation policy development and administration.

This position will report to Sr.

Director, Rewards Americas and will be a key member of the AMER Rewards Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receives moderate supervision on new aspects of assignments Exercises moderate judgment on compensation-related areas Under general supervision, plans and develops compensation projects with unique or controversial problems that have an important effect on major organization issues Contributes to the design and administration of various employee compensation and programs including, but not limited, to salary administration, job evaluation, performance appraisal, merit and other salary increases, incentive plans, compensation communication, compensation policy development and administration, and work-life programs, etc.

Effectively analyze and diagnose compensation needs; provide clear advice and recommendations to help our partners make sound business decisions Advise management level business partners on compensation programs and issues, including fair and competitive pay levels based on internal career model and market surveys Makes recommendations regarding salary grades or market rates for specific jobs and assists in the development of incentive programs and the administration of performance review or merit-rating programs Reviews salary increases for compliance with company policy and budget and proposes processes and policies to more efficiently Maintains liaison with individuals and units within or outside COE to ensure compliance with regulations or laws Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related degree plus two (2) years or more of compensation experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Due to the nature of the role, US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications Four (4) years or more of compensation experience with a focus on participating in and/or utilizing market surveys Ability to build and manage relationships and set clear expectations with business partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage day to day assignments as well as large strategic initiatives Ability to understand and summarize data, and provide recommendations to management Strong presentation skills, with the ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Experience with MS Access, VBA, SQL, Power Pivots, and advanced Excel formulas and functions preferred Experience using Marketpay and Workday preferred Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry preferred CCP and/or GRP desired Additional Information: Relocation is not available for this position U.S.

The salary range for this position is $53,427
