Job Description: The HR Business Partner will work the leadership team to ensure that HR capabilities are being used to support the organizational goals.
The business partner will have strong business knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of HR.
This role will be more strategic than other HR functions and will also focus on compliance.
Requirements: * Comprehensive Understanding of California Labor Law* Ability to solve complex employee relations issues and address employee grievances* Strategic planning to define measure of improvement of HR practices* Coaching employees and executives on HR issues* Drive and Implement HR initiatives Critical Skills: * Proven people management skills* Analytical and goal oriented* Experience with HR metrics* Thorough understanding of labor legislation* Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices* Project Management skills* Strong leadership skills Experience Required: * High school diploma or equivalent, required* Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or comparable focus of study* Advanced degree or SHRM will be considered an advantage* 5+ years in HR-related role* Travel to various California locations and sometimes to the corporate office Salary: To be commensurate with experience.
