The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning firm objectives with associates and leaders in a designated team(s).
The HRBP leads and manages the people-related agenda within our teams and organizations.
The HRBP formulates partnerships across the firm to deliver value-added service to leadership and associates that reflect firmwide business objectives, sharing in the responsibility for the goals and execution.
The HRBP leads the people functions and acts as the people facilitator for an org’s management team.
The HRBP is a key member of the FW Operations People Team and collaborates closely with the Director of Human Resources.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Acts as a single People team point of contact for leaders and associates in a team
Builds a strong business relationship with team leadership
Proactively supports the delivery of people functions within a team
Actively identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes necessary to cover risks
Facilitates the team’s leadership to bring the best solutions for associates
Acts as a confidential resource and safe harbor for associates
Is the initial contact for a team’s questions related to employment or other people team functions
Working alongside team leadership, manages a team’s rhythm of the business for people functions
Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people functions
Manages succession plans and talent pipelines for key talent and key job positions
Champions the HRBP model and team throughout the organization
Brings immediate credibility to the HRBP function through professional contributions, leadership skills, and personal brand
Coaches, develops, and supports other HRBPs and Point B’ers across the firm
Analyzes and tackles problems with an iterative, progressive approach, and makes data supported recommendations
Produces high quality deliverables in an open, collaborative manner
Actively engages in Point B’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts
Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B cultural tenets and values
Participates in firm culture activities to connect regularly with other Point B’ers (e.g., People Team meetings, Geo Meetings, etc.)
WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:
8+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably as a HRBP
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines (e.g., compensation practices, organizational diagnosis and development, employee relations, DEI, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws)
Strong problem-solver, with a reputation of implementing innovative solutions with successful and measurable outcomes
Demonstrated ability to balance strategy and vision formation with pragmatic execution
Ability to influence others without direct authority
Coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills
Listening and empathy
Balance of data driven and intuition
Proven in organizational effectiveness and design
Knowledge of HCM, HRIS, and/or other technologies
Strong executive presence and business acumen
Proven in supporting developing people, change management, and strategy execution
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Windows OS, and HCM or HRIS technologies
Experience working with confidential and personnel data
Experience implementing business partner programs preferred
Professional services experience preferred
