If you are someone who believes that every moment with a customer or fellow employee is an opportunity to create a genuine emotional connection, and you enjoy being a part of a team-inspired organization with a calling to create happiness, then this is your chance to become a part of the culture that is 9021PHO.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for completing the following Human Resource and Payroll (other related functions may be assigned):Administration of employee benefits invoicesProcess and administer employee benefits deductions (including group insurances)Research and respond to unemployment claims notificationNew hire packet audits for Human Resource compliance and checklist administrationGarnishment administration, related requirements notifications and processing Audit and administer terminated employee filesEmployment verification for terminated employeesCreation and management of reportsCoordination and management of workers compensationMaintains established Human Resource and Payroll principles, practices, and proceduresOversee payroll, accuracy of timecards and PTO balances for 200+ employeesEnsure compliance with federal & state laws and regulations, including OSHA, ADA, LOA administration, EEOC, and W/C.Investigate & resolve employee relations issues, including the investigation of harassment, discrimination and other complaints.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Create position descriptions as necessaryOrganize recruitment and selection including advertising and short listing applicantsAd hoc Human Resource and Payroll matters.KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Reports to the Director of Operations & CEOWorks with restaurant management and Support Center team and provides support to others within team, while assuring all assigned work is complete and accurateHeavy employee interaction, including Executives, Directors, and Managers.COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detailNumerical ability and data entry skills Ability to work to deadlinesEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration or other applicable program; CPP or PHR certification preferredMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resource and PayrollPayroll administration of 200+ employeesExperience in a growing company preferredHighly professional in all communications with employee, co-workers, and stakeholders; outstanding written and verbal communication.PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this jobReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsRegularly works 40 hours each weekAdditional hours required during the month, quarter, and year-end business situations, or other business needs.9021Pho Restaurants, LLC is an EOEJob Type: Full-timeExperience:• Human Resrouces Management: 5 years (Required)Education:• Bachelor’s (Required)Location:• Los Angeles, CA 90024 (Required)
