Description/Job SummaryJOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/Objective The Recruiter is primarily responsible for sourcing and pre-screening applicants over the phone.

The Recruiter must be able to analyze resumes and process information in a rapid manner so as to maximize contacts.

They are also responsible for placing recruitment ads on internet job boards, college websites, and developing sources to increase the number of quality applicants at the lowest cost.

Consult with Store Management on developing a recruitment strategy to fill open positions.

Also responsible for maintaining Action Oriented Programs for our Affirmative Action Plans.

This position is responsible for maintaining high energy, excellent telephone and organizational skills.

Essential FunctionsCall, pre-screen and refer candidatesSort and review all resumes / applications receivedEnter and then communicate Background check results, communicate Drug test results Places newspaper ads, place and/or update internet ads, update any other additional sourcesSearch for new resumes posted on a daily basisSearch for new sources and keep relationships with current sources, attend occasional career fairsDevelop relationships with hiring managers to ensure candidates are interviewed timelyUpdate Applicant tracking system to keep openings currentDriving responsibilities which include but are not limited to travel to multiple locations for hiring events, meetings, interviews and other various assignmentsRequired SkillsMust enjoy talking to people and possess a sales mentality.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.Must have great Computer skills (MS Office and Internet).Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures and /or government regulations; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Required ExperienceMust have a strong phone presence and be comfortable working with various levels of management.Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking to people.Must be able to adapt and have flexibility in a progressing environment.Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or at least 2 years of specific experience and/or training related to the essential functions of the job; or equivalent combination of education and trainingAbility to travel within assigned area (Kentucky & Indiana)
