Data Analysis Inc is based in Los Angeles, California.#IND-PrioritySummaryThe People Coordinator provides support to the various stakeholders within the People department such as the People Partners, Payroll, L& D, Safety, and HRIS by assisting with general administration duties.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain employment records and files as required by federal, state or company requirements.
Records include compliance documents, reporting, and employee personnel filesMaintain and update the HRIS system with employee changes, onboarding, offboarding, etcAssist the review of employee timecards and partner with third party vendor to process payrollCoordinating performance review process including termination, disciplinary action and merit increasesProvide support with company recruiting efforts such as background checks and schedule of interviewsProvide training support and/or facilitation of new hire orientations, safety trainings, and others as assignedRespond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistanceFormulating methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices as well as recommending changes to managementSupport other functions or duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or in a related discipline2-3 years proven experience as a People Coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative positionKnowledge of human resources processes and best practicesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAble to handle data with confidentialityGood organization and time management skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.) skillsPayroll experience with ADP WorkforceNow requiredHRIS experience with systems such as SuccessFactors a plusBilingual English/Spanish a plusPerform all work and activities with honesty and integrityTake personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of workEffectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely mannerSupport and meet company/department goals and core valuesCollaborate with co-workers to achieve common goalsWorking ConditionsMust be able to perform the essential job duties.
