– Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
This position will begin in June of 2020 and end in March 2022.
The position will require the intern to work approximately 15-20 hours a week.
A majority of the work conducted will be remote and work times are flexible.
The intern will report to the Executive Director as the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator.
If given this position, the intern will be responsible for further developing and maintaining DRC’s social media and marketing platforms in order to further contribute to access, equity, and representation within the dance community and DRC’s network.

Job Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience in arts management and/or administration 2-3 years of relevant experience in community oriented and non profit work Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Interest in dance related community non profit work
Background
The Dance Resource Center (DRC) is a service organization that promotes the visibility and viability of Greater Los Angeles dance on local, state and national levels.
By providing its members and constituencies with information, technical assistance, networking opportunities and a range of programs, DRC acts as the central source for all things dance in Greater Los Angeles.
DRC is open to all professional dance companies, choreographers, dance makers and dance stakeholders and welcomes all genres, organizational formats, voices and perspectives that reflect Greater Los Angeles’s diverse communities.
DRC is guided by its vision to provide relevant programs and services to the evolving needs of the Greater LA dance community and to foster regional sustainability of the art form.
