Ref ID: 02250-0011921928 Classification: Human Resources (HR) Manager Compensation: $80000.00 to $100000.00 yearly Robert Half Finance and Accounting is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their growing clients team In this role you will be responsible to perform the five functions of management within the Human Resource Department: planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling.

You will assist and support multiple departments and the overall operations team with any/all needs to meet the long-term goals of the company while ensuring maximum profitability.

This is a full time opportunity located in the Troy area, Michigan area.

-Oversee and mentor the plant HR teams to ensure daily requirements are being completed timely and accurately -Maintaining Employment Manual with respect to policies and procedures which may include revising and adding annual amendments -Assist with the selection of new payroll and HR software -Handling all benefit and worker’s compensation audits -Staying up-to-date on US Employment Laws, federal and state -Handling extension-of-offers for Executive Management -Orientation for all new hires in Upper Management -Administration of required hiring forms and proper verbiage -Assist with legal terminology for all write-ups and terminations -Communicating with corporate attorney on an as-needed basis when potential claims arise -Managing all unemployment claims -Training management on proper documentation requirements for terminations, corrective disciplinary actions and unemployment hearings -Updating evaluation process and conducting annual performance appraisals -Oversee Retention Strategy -Oversee all aspects of Recruiter and functions related to position -Oversee all aspects of benefit process: review negotiation proposals, ensure open enrollment process is efficient and timely -Ensure compliance items are completed, maintained and organized (staff files, I-9’s, payroll reports, W-4’s) -Assisting, leading and participating in weekly management meetings Job Requirements: Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Power Point -Complete required tasks, quotas, and assignments prior to or within deadlines given -Treat all coworkers professionally, fairly and respectfully -Cooperate with fellow employees -Responding politely to the clients we serve -Effective communication and verbial skills
