Corporate Human Resources Coordinator

The Corporate Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR functions of the Administrative Office.

Tasks for this position include payroll processing, benefit administration and onboarding of new hires.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree in related field required, Human Resources preferred One (1) year experience in Human Resources required One (1) year experience in benefits administration preferred Working knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to employment Prior experience with computerized human resource information and payroll systems preferred Must relate well to employees, residents and visitors Strong problem-solving skills required Must be able to provide excellent customer support Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a teamResponsibilities and Expectations: Coordinates hiring process, including issuing offer of employment letters, conducting all necessary pre-employment verifications, and reference checks.

Conducts new employee orientation, including review of employee policies and benefits and issuing of employee badges.

Processes all necessary new employee entry / current employee change information in a timely manner.

Ensures employee provided with appropriate network accesses.

Completes assigned benefit wire transfers, billing reconciliation and arrears / late notices.

Completes LOA approval letters.

Coordinates Workers Compensation management to include filing first reports and completion of quarterly reports.

Responsible for community timekeeping and payroll as assigned.

Maintains employee files, databases, and information (electronic and paper) in compliance with regulation and policy.

Responsible for routine employment verifications, unemployment and other legitimate requests in accordance with organizational policy.

Maintains confidentiality and rights in compliance with PSL and applicable HIPAA policies and regulations.

Maintains a safe work environment and exhibits safe work practices.
