The Assistant Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our HR strategy is implemented within their assigned business area with a clear integration and support to our overall business strategy.This job is located in the Tri-State area.
What Will You Be Doing?
Manage HR partnership with the District Managers and operate as the critical business partner to the Store Managers to drive business performanceUse key business metrics and a solid understanding of business operations to develop tailored solutions and innovation around talent strategiesResponsible for associate relations, career development, performance management, associate retention, and compliance managementDevelop and facilitate multiple levels of training to support DM & SM group Strong project manager skills for HR related initiativesBuild, maintain and develop strong cross-functional relationships with business partners at the Global Home OfficeWhat Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience 3 years of HR experience preferred (or related experience with managing people)Understanding of, or ability to learn, employment related laws and regulation on the city, state, and federal levelAbility to prioritize, multi-task and manage through deadlines Work independently and with-in a large team while maintaining integrity and confidentiality Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative approach to working with business partners while executing objectivesStrong communication skillsAbility to confront tough issues while maintaining a calm and balanced perspectiveStrong presentation skills in a training environmentKnowledge of, or ability to learn, investigative process with associate relations casesOur Company Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
