This leading construction business are looking for a passionate and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction projects from conception to completion by developing project schedules, budgets, and work plans. This role will require nationwide travel.
The Traveling Superintendent responsibilities will be:
* Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Supervise and direct on-site construction teams
* Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
* Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other contractors
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
The Traveling Superintendent will need:
* At least 5 years of experience as a big box retail / light industrial construction superintendent
* Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
