Summary

The Travel and Expense Analyst’s main objectives are to provide Tier 1 support for users of Concur, AEG’s Travel and Expense (T&E) software and to identify and deter potential noncompliance, abuse or fraud within AEG’s Travel and Expense (T&E) and Purchasing Card (P-Card) programs by analyzing expense patterns and submissions and enforcing company policies. Essential Functions Perform Level 1 day-to-day user support/employee inquiries in regard to Concur travel & expense management solution, Travel and Expense policy, and/or American Express company cardsManage T&E/P-Card exceptions generated by an automated auditing tool (Oversight); research exceptions within Oversight, Concur, and AMEX’s @Work portal Analyze individual exceptions and exception patterns to determine cause and intent; correctly differentiate between negligence, abuse, and fraud Communicate with employees to resolve questions, issues and exceptions Help to educate employees about company policies and procedures to influence future behavior Determine when support questions or audit exceptions should be escalated Required

Qualifications

3+ years of related experience in Travel and Expense Hands-on experience with Concur or similar expense tracking tool Experience working for a large and complex international organization is preferred Experience working in/with a Finance organization / Accounts Payable group is preferred Hands-on experience with Oversight or similar audit tool is preferred Experience working with a company card program such as American Express is preferred Experience in the entertainment and/or sports industry is preferred Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, filters, etc.) Must be able to provide excellent customer service to internal system users Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Strong analytical ability and attention to detail Ability to quickly prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Ability to use sound judgement in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information Knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
