RCD) is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the health and well-being of the residents within the community to which they are assigned to.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Managing all clinical programs, quality assurance and regulatory complianceAssisting in the training and on-boarding of clinical and care coordinator team membersAssisting and partnering with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training (in states where allowed), Nursing at-Sunrise training and any other care and service trainingQualifications:Maintains current state license as a Professional Registered Nurse per state regulations in the states they cover and supportExperience in assisted living and/or long term careA minimum of five (5) year’ experience as a Registered NurseDemonstration of competence in assessment skills, injections/medication administration, follow up and triageMinimum two (2) years nursing management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision, discipline and counselingAbility to delegate and oversee that care is being provided according to nursing and Sunrise standardsAbility to handle competing prioritiesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainingsCompetent in organizational, time management skillsDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsDemonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applicationsAble to travel within a geographic area and on special projects for SunriseAs applicable, all Sunrise team members who drive a Sunrise vehicle must review and sign the Driver job descriptionAbility to work weekends, evenings & flexible hours as needed for resident care/services, must be available to our customers at peak service times and as neededSunrise considers the health and safety of its residents, family members, and team members as its highest priorities.
