RNFA Travel RN

RNFA’s are highly trained and skilled in surgical procedures, and they have completed additional education and certification to qualify for this role. They work under the supervision of a surgeon, and their responsibilities can include positioning the patient, preparing the surgical site, handling instruments, providing tissue retraction, and suturing incisions. RNFA’s play a critical role in ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures, and their expertise helps to improve surgical outcomes.

Requirements

  • You must have an active and unrestricted RN license in the state where you plan to work.
  • You must pass the National Institute of First Assisting’s Certification Exam for RN First Assistants or the Competency and Credentialing Institute’s CNOR First Assistant Exam.
  • 2 years of experience required
