Private Housekeeper

Description/Job SummaryReporting to the House Manager, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the inside of the home is in pristine condition in addition to following the principals’ standards of laundry duties.

They are expected to be hardworking, trustworthy, and have a desire to “serve” the principals’ changing desires.

They are to present themselves in a professional manner in the designated uniform.

They will respect the boundaries and quiet times of the principals.This is a full-time position, with benefits, and an “on-call” aspect when the principals are arriving or in residence.

They are expected to make every effort to satisfy the principals’ scheduling.

Collaborating with the House Manager and taking direction from them, the Housekeeper is expected to provide a superior level of service and preparation of the home.
