Night Auditor

COMPENSATION:
– $20/hr -Paid-time off -time and half holiday pay This is a PART-TIME position: The Night Auditor/Guest Services position is 4 nights a week; 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday-Wednesday, THIS IS A SET SCHEDULE Our 58 room newly renovated airport hotel is owner operated with a valued, long time team.

NIGHT AUDIT RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Perform night audit accurately and completely free of mathematical or procedural errors.

– Balance and audit room revenue, food and beverage revenue and other revenue for accuracy; assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.

– Review night audit report for accurate postings
– Credit card authorizations and deposits
– Review all arrivals for following day on PMS and OTA extranets to insure accuracy and to charge prepaid reservations.

– Respond to emails and messaging
– Walk exterior of property and report any building issues for maintenance follow-up the next day
– Prepare Grab-n-Go breakfast FRONT DESK RESPONSIBILITIES: GUEST SERVICES:
– Efficiently and professionally check-in and out all guests and insure accuracy of folio.

– Reservation inquiries: confidently sell the room/hotel, up-selling and accurately booking the reservation on the phone, in person and email.

– Answering the telephone in a professional and timely manner
– Resolve all guest issues and requests in a manner satisfactory to both the guest and the hotel.

– Assist guests with amenities, services and requests; including local and site-seeing information, area dining, airport transportation, directions, maps and arranging tours.

– Review all arrivals noting any special requests or challenges
– Maintain front desk forms and projects as needed
– Special projects EXPERIENCE: Two years of hotel experience preferred.
