HVAC Field Service Specialist
– 100% Travel
We are seeking two Sr.
HVAC technician to support our regional clients in the East and West.
This person will have lab & troubleshooting experience and have refrigeration install controls and technologies experience.
You will predominantly be going to local groceries, businesses, warehouse etc.
Programming experience is nice to have.
Responsible for the field service of Cold Chain products, services and commissioning services of new installation, retrofit, and existing sites.
Customer visits for installation, programming, start-up, commissioning, training and troubleshooting of products and services offered are required.
Fieldwork will be required with extensive overnight travel, typically 90-95% as well as rotational on-call responsibilities and weekend work.
Your interaction with contractors will extend to validation, training, and recommendations.
As a Field Services Specialist, you will be required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport and communications with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others as appropriate.

Job Requirements:
AS A FIELD SERVICE SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
Maintain proficiency in all products and services that the company offers.
This includes installation, programming, and equipment protocol.
Maintain proficiency in all designated third-party products and services.
Provide on-site termination of low voltage control wires.
Provide on-site start-up of Solutions products.
(Ensure equipment is operational and free of defects).
Provide impromptu training for onsite contractors and users.
Equipment programming and commissioning.
Provide standard and emergency service.
(As assigned to maintain customer site) Complete paperwork such as Service Work Requests, timesheets, expense reports, and Field Service Reports.
Customer telephone and e-mail technical support.
Assist with onsite “New Store” commissioning (N-Cx) Review store prints and specifications Work with contractors to review and ensure store is built to specifications Compile information for N-Cx and E-Cx reports Assist with onsite “Energy” Commissioning (E-Cx) Optimize controls and store equipment for energy savings
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database, Internet software, E-mail, Windows 10, 2000, XP Certified in the use and handling of refrigerants Ability to perform the duties of this job, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, vibration and risk of electrical shock.
Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
HVACR experience specifically with supermarkets and/or electromechanical systems (EMS)
