Job Summary:
As an Engineering Services Manager, you will lead a team of 2nd shift maintenance craft workers, and manage vendors when needed, in the building and property maintenance of all Disneyland Resort Hotels. The work environment is dynamic, with a significant responsibility for producing tangible results.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to, corrective maintenance of kitchen equipment, central energy plants and associated distribution systems, HVAC equipment, lighting systems, and responding to guest room calls.
You will report to the Manager of Engineering Services Disneyland Resort Hotels.
Responsibilities:
You Will:
- Put the safety of your cast members, guests, and stakeholders first.
- Prioritize and direct work to multiple union crafts and ensuring that it is completed.
- Monitor and support field operations, coordinating job assignments, evaluating work practices, and conducting safety reviews.
- Report out to Senior Management on the status of craft job completion, training requirement completion and end of shift turn-over reports.
- Partner with clients to understand and meet their requirements, responding to their requests for support in a timely manner.
- Provide technical guidance in kitchens, utilities, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Basic Qualifications:
You Have:
- Experience working in a guest service environment
- Proven strong background in maintenance management as a manager, lead, foreman, etc.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and central utility systems
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem solving skills
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, holidays and third shift overnight scheduling
- Demonstrated proficiency reading blueprints and schematic drawings
- Hands on experience and familiarity with a computerized maintenance management system (Maximo, HotSOS, etc), as well as experience within a Windows environment

- Demonstrated budget and scheduling management skill
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree, Trade School completion, or 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience

- Engineering degree
