Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations
Dishwasher/Steward
Responsibilities
Be a part of a high-performing kitchen team
Basic knowledge and correctly operate dishwashing machine
Bus, sort and rack dishes & utensils
Place all clean dishes, utensils, small cooking equipments and tools in appropriate storage area
Keep all restaurant areas, including customer areas, the dish area, kitchen and restrooms clean throughout shifts.
Empty restaurant trash and maintain a clean and organize trash bin areas throughout shifts
Breakdown all cardboard box and keep all floors clean and dry at all times
Help with kitchen cleaning duties as assigned by Head Chef and Restaurant Manager
Make sure all of dishes & silverware are spotless
Requirements
Stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs.
Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.
Food handlers’ card
