About the Role: The Dishwasher is an integral part of our recipe for sushi for all mankind. Systematically ensuring the entire restaurant has the support of clean glassware, silverware, cookware, and dishware in order to ensure the best Japanese cuisine is delivered to all our guests. Essential Functions • Operates the dishwasher • Washes glassware and other items by hand when necessary • Empties and cleans all trash receptacles • Assist with cleaning and servicing of coffee, iced tea, and soda machines. • Follows all sanitation procedures. • Regularly operates cleaning equipment to clean, service, sanitize kitchen equipment, dishwashing areas, restrooms, and supply areas. • Provides support to all BOH staff as needed, especially during peak times. • Performs opening, side, and closing work. • Cleans up spills, and broken glass/dishware in a safe and urgent manner • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. • Executes and maintain quality and consistent service with full adherence to standards; acts with a sense of urgency, is friendly, professional, and engaged. • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by management. www.kabukirestaurants.com…
