Youth Mental Health Counselor – Remote

Are you dedicated to helping children and teens receive free mental health services?

Gaggle is partnering with schools to provide teletherapy for students.

Sessions are funded by schools so there is no out-of-pocket cost to students and their families.

Our clients are K-12 children who either lack community resources, whose health insurance doesn’t provide adequate mental health benefits or do not have access to mental health services.

As a teletherapist, you will conduct weekly video therapy sessions with students focused on helping them improve their mental health.

Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly video therapy sessions with assigned clients (children and teens), focused on helping them improve their mental health.

Sessions generally take place outside of school hours, with a few exceptions.

Requirements:
Independent practice capability
Following credentials are accepted
– Licensed Mental Health Counselor
– LMHC, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
– LCSW, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
– LMFT, Licensed Professional Counselor
– LPC, or Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)
Strong technology skills
2+ years of counseling experience (experience with youth, mandates, and laws and ethics regarding minors preferred)
Must have own professional liability insurance
Bonus points for multi-state licensing.
As an independent contractor for Gaggle, you’ll have the ability to manage your own schedule and caseload.

We handle all other aspects of the practice, including client onboarding and billing.

Therapists are reimbursed per session and reimbursed partially for no-shows.
