Position Summary:Responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care given to endoscopy patients and has patient contact during the immediate pre, intra, and immediate post-procedure periods, monitors the activities of all nursing staff during the procedure to which she/he is assigned and demonstrates clinical skills.Reports To: Director, Perioperative ServicesSupervises: NoneQualifications Position Requirements:Licensure/ Certification/Registration: * Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
* BCLS required * ACLS required * PALS requiredEducation: * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
* Successfully pass Pharmacology test.
* Knowledge of EKG interpretationExperience: * One-year endoscopy experienceSpecial Qualifications: * Must be able to read, write and speak English.
