Our history of quality mental health care is due in large part to the dedicated and talented employees whose efforts have helped improve the lives of children, transitional age youth, and their families.Job Summary:A Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) Data Entry Clerk performs a variety of general office duties in support of the QA/QI department.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Reporting to the VIP’s QA/QI Manager, the Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the following:Performs data entry requirements to update and record information related to electronic health records and databases.Audits documents for completeness.Files and maintains records.Maintains inventory and prepares supply requisitions for approval, as needed.Arranges for meetings/trainings by coordinating calendars, distributing agenda material and reserving rooms.Prepares documents as assigned.Conducts surveys of clients served.Contributes to the QA/QI team by accomplishing assigned tasks in a timely manner.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Provide clerical support to supporting departments as needed.Other duties as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school graduate or its equivalent.Knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.Knowledge of DMH/Medi-Cal billing requirements.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Energetic, detail-oriented, organized individual.Knowledge of and expertise in clinical quality assurance, clinical charting methods, and clinical best practices.Spanish speaker who can read and translate documents.DESIRED SKILLSKnowledge of Medi-Cal documentation requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent data management skills.Familiarity with CQI.Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities successfully.Flexible, detail-oriented, organized individual..
