Our history of quality mental health care is due in large part to the dedicated and talented employees whose efforts have helped improve the lives of children, transitional age youth, and their families.PROGRAM SUMMARYOutpatient Care Services (OCS) are specialty mental health services provided to children/youth, ages 0-25 by professionals and paraprofessionals specially trained to recognize and respond to the unique biopsychosocial needs of children/youth.POSITION SUMMARYThe OCS Supervisor will ensure that Clinicians are providing responsive and appropriate mental health services to children who have Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and are unserved, underserved or inappropriately served.

The OCS supervisor will also provide therapists and case managers with clinical/administrative supervision and provide on-call support 24/7 (on rotation) for after-hours phone crisis..

Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to VIP s Clinical Director, the OCS Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the following:Develop relationships and ongoing communication with DCFS workers and other staff.Ensure all clinical and mental health staff documentation and data collection is complete, timely, accurate, and current in agency records and electronic databases.Provide individual and group clinical supervision for clinicians and document according to standards.Provide individual and team supervision, support, and performance evaluations for all assigned staff.Assist in recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct service staff.Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure proper staff orientation, training, and audit preparedness for all clinical and mental health contracts.Ensure adherence to funding source contract and performance standards.Maintain a current, thorough knowledge of community resources and utilize these to provide services to clients.Effectively represent agency at funding partner or collaborative meetings.Respond to phone crisis and provide problem resolution.Is available (on rotation) for crisis support to clients 24/7 (telephone only).Maintain scheduling/coverage of on call schedules.Ability to work collaboratively with members of inter-disciplinary teams; and ability to provide ongoing clinical consultation to medical staff.Maintains confidentiality over all information regarding clients, families, and operations of the Agency.Maintains professional relationship with clients, staff, and other outside stake holders at all times and exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.Follow agency policies and procedures.Participate in VIP in-service training programs.Perform other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSPh.D/Psy.D/MSW/MFT degree from an accredited university.Fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.Minimum two years documented experience in a mental health setting as a licensed therapist.Strong clinical, written, and verbal communication skills.Well organized, detail oriented and skilled with time/task management, able to adapt to frequent changes.Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities successfully.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.Current licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) (LMFT or LCSW); licensed Ph.D./PsyD.; must maintain CA BBS registration as a condition of employment.BENEFITS & PERKSMedical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Supplemental Insurance.401(k) plan / Profit Sharing.12 paid holidays per year.Generous paid time off accrual.Travel reimbursements at IRS rate.Bilingual (Spanish) differentialCell phone provided for business use.Fully paid EBP training opportunities, including TF-CBT, MAP, PPP, IY Seeking Safety, IPT, PCIT, and ICBT.FLSA STATUSFull-time; Exempt Associated topics: biopharmaceutical, diet, dietary, food scientist, health, healthcare, immunoassay, microbiology, pharmacometrics, therapy
