UCLA Health: Neuroimaging And Neuromodulation Staff Research Associate

ResponsibilitiesThe Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Staff Research Associate to join the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences.

The study involves brain imaging using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS).

Primary duties include:Screening and recruitingRegulating compliance, data collection, and data managementManaging and collecting data for clinical research study involving noninvasive brain simulation (rTMS) in people who smoke cigarettesPrepping EMG equipmentCollecting MRI dataQualificationsBachelor’s degree in neuroscience or psychology (strongly preferred)Previous experience with human subjects research (strongly preferred)MRI or rTMS experience (preferred)Proficiency with UNIX/Linux/basic shell scripting (preferred)Strong interpersonal skillsHigh conscientiousnessUCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
