UCLA Health: Analytics Manager – Emergency, Trauma And Observation Services

Responsibilities In this position, you will optimize the use of data to inform strategy and produce results consistent with UCLA Health goals and priorities.

You will be responsible for modeling complex problems, discovering insights and identifying strategic and pragmatic opportunities through the use of data analytics and visualization techniques.

You will focus on developing relationships throughout the integrated health system in order to fully understand service related patient quality care, research and business needs.

You will utilize advanced analytic skills in order to ensure that data is reliable, validated and useful.

This role works collaboratively to understand presenting patient care, quality & business challenges andopportunities, and presents information that can be easily understood by all stakeholders.

This role includes utilizing programming knowledge to rapidly cycle hypotheses through the discovery phase of a given project.Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting analysis, requirements definition, and reporting support.Minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrated experience producing reporting and data visualizations in addition to supporting analytical and ad-hoc analysis with SAP Business Objects, or other Business Intelligence platforms.Healthcare experienceMaster’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.Skills in Tableau, SQL, Python, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate up, down, and across levels of the organization.Ability to create, manage and enhance interdepartmental relationshipsHighly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a complex and matrixed team environment; experience working in ateam-oriented, collaborative environment.Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines.UCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
