Overview: The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications: Current California RN LicenseCurrent Basic Life Support Level C (Healthcare Provider) certification.NRP, ACLS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required.Required certifications within 90 days of employment: Blood Glucose.Baby Friendly 15 hour class & 5 hour clinical training.
