Therapist (Community Based) – $2500 Sign-On Bonus

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are seeking experienced, full-time, ICARE Therapists to provide direct clinical and case management services to our high-risk community based clients, ages 0 – 5, and their families who are referred through the Child Welfare system for mental health services. The Therapist is essential in providing clinical direction to each client’s treatment team and work collaboratively with client’s social workers, educational systems and identified natural supports.

This is an exempt position that reports directly to the Director of Mental Health Services, Community Based.

Servicing the South Los Angeles and La Verne areas.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $2,500 for Therapists (50% paid after 3 months and the remaining 50% paid after 6 months; excluding On-Call), and a bilingual stipend of $2,500.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or related mental health/human services field.

*
0-5 ICARE assessment and treatment training required.

*
Active license with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Social Worker (ASW) or an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT).

*
Experience working with high-risk children, adolescents, adults and/or families within the Mental Health, Educational, and/or Child Welfare systems preferred.

*
Knowledge or experience with LA County Department of Mental Health (DMH) billing and documentation procedures preferred.

*
Trained and certified in LA County approved Evidence-Based Practices (EBP), including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) CBT, Seeking Safety, Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), Aggression Replacement Training (ART) Triple P, and/or Incredible Year preferred.

Availability to be on-call for crisis related services required.

Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.

Willingness and ability to make frequent field visits, attend meetings, conferences and other job related events away from headquarters. If driving a personal or agency vehicle, must be insurable by our agency’s automobile insurance carrier.
